Ride Brief

Road Captains/Ride Leaders are required to provide a pre-ride safety briefing prior to each chapter ride.   This brief serves to ensure that each rider has an enjoyable ride.   It is not intended to enforce rules, rather to provide guidance to help ensure predictability regarding expected riding styles and  any anticipated hazards along the route to ensure safety.  The briefing should focus on our Chapter's Policies:  

Be Safe

Be Alert

Be Aware

Use Common Sense

Be Courteous

Ride a Safe Ride

Have Fun!

It should be understood that each rider is qualified to ride on our roads and is responsible for his or her own safety.
